The Complete Commercial Energy Storage System is the application of Commercial and Industrial backup power supply. According to different capacities of UPS and lithium iron phosphate battery system, it provides customers with high-quality, stable and reliable power supply. The lithium iron phosphate battery system is mainly composed of a lithium iron phosphate battery module, a battery management system (BMS) and a communication module. It can effectively control the charge and discharge according to the needs of the equipment, and can be connected with the monitoring center to monitor the usage status of the battery and the system. Signals such as alarms are sent to the monitoring center to eliminate risks in time.

What is the Commercial Energy Storage System Control Strategy?

Peak & normal time period: photovoltaic power generation at full power, priority for load use, divided into the following 3 modes:

  1. If the photovoltaic power is greater than the load power, charge the battery. If the battery is saturated (reaching the preset saturated power, which can be set), it can be discharged to the AC side through the PCS inverter. If the AC side does not allow power transmission or power failure, Then, the power of the photovoltaic converter is limited to make it reach the power balance.
  2. If the photovoltaic power is less than the load power, the battery will be discharged first. If the battery emits light (reaching the preset warning power, which can be set), first consider cutting off the secondary load (load that can be powered off), and if it still does not meet the remaining load requirements, then Power is drawn from the AC meter through the PCS to achieve power balance.
  3. If the conditions such as AC power failure, battery dead, insufficient photovoltaic power, and secondary load have been cut off are all met, an alarm message will be sent in advance, and the system will cut off all loads for protection.

Valley time: During the valley time, there is basically no output of photovoltaics, and it needs to meet the load power consumption. It is divided into the following two modes:

  1. The AC grid has power. The PCS takes power from the AC side, inverts to supply power to the load, and at the same time charges the battery until it is fully charged, and then performs floating charging to maintain the saturated state of the battery.
  2. If the AC power grid is out of power, the battery will supply power to the load. If the battery emits light (reaching the preset warning power level, which can be set), first consider cutting off the secondary load (load that can be powered off), and still does not meet the remaining load requirements. An alarm message is issued in advance, and the system cuts off all loads for protection.

What is the ESS System composition?

The bidirectional DC-DC converter is to step up/down the DC power of the lithium iron phosphate battery pack and the supercapacitor pack, so that it is connected to the 400V DC bus, which can realize the bidirectional flow of energy and complete the charging of the Commercial energy storage system. Discharge, while accepting the scheduling and monitoring of the central controller.

The Commercial energy storage DC-AC bidirectional converter (PCS) can control the charging and discharging process of the battery, perform AC-DC conversion, and can directly supply power to AC loads in the absence of a grid. PCS consists of DC/AC bidirectional converter, control unit, etc. The PCS controller receives the background control command through communication and controls the converter to charge or discharge the battery according to the sign and size of the power command, so as to realize the adjustment of the active power and reactive power of the grid. The PCS controller communicates with the BMS through the CAN interface to obtain the status information of the battery pack, which can realize the protective charging and discharging of the battery and ensure the safe operation of the battery. Microgrid central controller

The central controller of the micro-grid collects the electrical parameters of the whole network through high-speed data collection of the micro-grid system, collects and monitors the operation status of the whole network, and performs logic operations on this basis to obtain a control strategy for the implementation of the micro-grid Adjustment control realizes the real-time dynamic adjustment function of microgrid industrial power supply, commercial energy storage and load to ensure the safe and stable operation of microgrid.

Micro-grid energy management system EMS

The micro-grid energy management system is the nerve center and energy management center of the micro-grid system. The system uses the Internet of Things technology to build a sensor measurement and control network, and conducts comprehensive information perception and monitoring on the operation of various types of equipment, environmental status and personnel management in the smart microgrid. The operation information of BMS and PCS integrates functions such as microgrid system power generation and energy storage monitoring, power supply monitoring, and billing management. At the same time, it receives the dispatching instructions issued by the grid dispatching center, and reasonably distributes the dispatching instructions according to the current operating information of the battery pack and the micro-grid inverter.
