Why choose 24v LiFePO4 Battery? In recent years, service robots and automatic guidance vehicles (AGVs) have been increasingly used in warehouses to improve productivity and reduce labor shortages. These devices typically use lead-acid batteries, however, lead-acid batteries have long charging times and short battery life. They are heavy and not easy to replace or carry.

As a result, there is a increasing demand of lithium-ion battery that has a short charge time, long battery life, lighter and easy to replace and maintain. In addition, the use of lithium batteries also reduces the use of harmful lead batteries from the perspective of environmental protection.

So, NPP has developed a 24V LiFePO4 battery module using the lithium-ion battery, which is the same size as a lead-acid battery.

Interchangeability with size compatibility of lead-acid batteries

Most service robots, AGVs, electric trucks, etc. Their power supply system voltage configurations are multiple of 24V, so it is usually necessary to series two lead-acid batteries with an output voltage of 12V.

The 24V integral battery module uses the 24V system as a battery management unit (BMU), the same size as a conventional lead acid battery, which is easily interchangeable.

Higher safety and longer service life

Using NPP’s unique technology, it achieves higher safety and longer service life than other batteries. The high safety of the 24V Lithium battery modules is derived from battery technology, with the positive material using lithium iron phosphate of olive stone type, even under high impact or pressure compared to the typical lithium-ion  battery. The temperature of the crystal structure can also be maintained without thermal runaway due to overcharging or internal short circuits. The longer life is due to the fact that the crystal structure is firmly stable with NPP technology, and the capacity attenuates slowly even with repeated charge and discharge. As a result, their life expectancy can be up to 15 years or more. Therefore, using the NPP technology mentioned above, maintenance can be reduced and maintenance costs controlled.

Fast Charging

It charges up to 90% of its capacity in approximately one hour. It can be charged during the standby time of the device equipped with this battery.

Outdoor dustproof and waterproof

Considering the situation of outdoor use, the 24V battery pack product has achieved the dustproof and waterproof grade of IP54, and has also obtained the UL2271 safety standard certification that non-motor vehicle batteries need to meet, so it can be used safely outdoors.

High-precision Remaining Capacity Detection

The 24V LiFePO4 batteries module utilizes the expertise accumulated by Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in the specialized field of electronic devices such as computers and mobile phones, to achieve high-precision remaining capacity display. The remaining capacity is shown as a percentage (%), enabling accurate estimation of the charging time for effective and efficient charging.
