NPP as a manufacturer that simultaneously produces 12v lithium ion battery and lead-acid battery, we understand the differences between these two batteries better. Lithium ion batteries, which have higher energy density and are lighter in weight.
NPP Power is specializing in renewable energy products since 2002. Initially, we produced Lead-acid batteries and have become one of the top ten lead-acid battery manufacturers in China. However, as the best 12v Lithium Battery manufacturer committed to excellence, we are not satisfied with our current achievements. To provide customers with better products, we continue to conduct research in the field of Lithium and sodium batteries.
12v Lithium batteries are a type of rechargeable battery that can provide a nominal voltage of 12 Volts. It uses Lithium Battery technology to store and discharge electrical energy, which makes it a popular choice for use in various household appliances, power tools, and electronic devices.
These batteries typically weigh less and have a higher energy density compared to other common types of rechargeable batteries, making them useful in applications where weight and space are at a premium. Additionally, 12V lithium ion battery is maintenance-free, which further increases its convenience and popularity among users.
12v lithium ion battery have several advantages over other types of batteries, including:
12 volt lithium battery has a wide range of applications due to their high energy density, long life cycle, lightweight, and durability. Some common uses include:
The 12V lithium battery provides a superior power source compared to traditional SLA batteries, making it the preferred choice in many use cases.
The number of 12 volt lithium battery required to run a house depends on the energy needs of the house and the capacity of the batteries. To determine the number of batteries needed, you need to calculate your energy usage in terms of kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day.
Here’s an example calculation:
Determine your daily energy usage in kWh. Let’s say your daily energy usage is 30 kWh.
Determine the voltage of your battery bank. If you’re using 12 volt lithium battery, then your battery bank voltage is 12 volts.
Determine the capacity of your batteries in amp-hours (Ah). Let’s say your batteries have a capacity of 200 Ah.
Calculate the total Ah required. To do this, divide your daily energy usage (step 1) by your battery bank voltage (step 2) and multiply by the efficiency factor (generally assumed to be 0.85). So, [(30 kWh / 12 V) x 0.85] = 63.75 Ah.
Divide the total Ah required (step 4) by the capacity of your batteries (step 3). So, 63.75 Ah / 200 Ah = 0.32.
Round up to the nearest whole number to determine the number of batteries needed. So, you would need at least one 12-volt battery to run your house in this example.
It’s important to note that this is just a rough estimate, and the actual number of batteries needed will depend on several factors, including the energy efficiency of your home, the number of appliances you have, and your daily energy usage. It’s best to consult with a professional to determine the right battery configuration for your specific needs.
The lifespan of a 12V lithium battery depends on several factors, including the quality of the battery, the usage pattern, and the storage conditions. Generally, a high-quality lithium battery can last for 5 to 10 years or more, with proper maintenance and usage.
The lifespan of a lithium battery is usually measured in the number of cycles it can undergo before its capacity starts to decline. A cycle is counted when the battery is discharged and then recharged back to full capacity. The number of cycles a lithium battery can undergo depends on the depth of discharge, the charging rate, and the temperature.
In general, a lithium battery can undergo over 3000 cycles before its capacity starts to decline significantly. However, this can vary based on the specific type and quality of the battery.
To extend the lifespan of your 12V lithium battery, it’s recommended to store it in a cool, dry place and to avoid over-discharging or over-charging the battery. It’s also important to use a compatible charger and to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for usage and maintenance.
